The Par 71 Wolf Hollow Golf Course first opened for play in 1999. The course was designed by Gary Kern. He had a lot to work with. The 175 acres on which the course is situated has more than 175 feet of elevation change. Wolf Hollow's mature wooded areas, lakes and spring-fed creek create natural hazards, adding to the character to this scenic course.

My friend and I played Wolf Hollow Golf Club on a rainy day. Sprinles to steady drizzle. Not too many ventured out, so pace of play was very good. "Cart path only" meant we had lots of up and down hill walking. The fairways were beautiful, but very soggy from all the rains Mo. has been having. Will play again. Friends from Indiana love to meet us here or play on the way home, as he did today (too wet for her after 9 holes).

This is a very scenic course with exceptional views. The price was reasonable for the quality of the course and the layout is challenging and interesting. The problem I have with the layout is the excessive number of blind shots - primarily off the tee. This resulted in a quite a few lost balls for our threesome. Because most of the fairways are sloped to one side, you often have no idea where your ball is going to end up, and the rough was cut to about 6 inches! This is the kind of course that will require playing several times to figure out the optimum place to hit your tee shots.
